two homes found new homes

I have been feeling the urge to blog for days but when I get down to it my ideas play a dirty trick on me and just vanish down the stairs. I could follow them of course on a search and capture mission but going up and down the stairs is sooo tiring... I can't bother. They'll come back on their own, I think they know darn well that they are my ideas and that they can't live long without me.

So, this is just a short entry to give you some good news. Two of my paper homes have found new homes and they will soon be on their way there.

home number 3

home number 8

One of them will be going to Barcelona and the other, I'm not sure yet. But how great that they found new homes! I'll miss them a lot but fare well, babies.

  1. ... and most intriguing they are ... Love all that pared down white and the regular marks - (holes?)

    1. They are needle holes made with a thick embroidery needle. I had to mark the points first with ruler and pencil, it took quite some time. I'm pleased you find them intriguing, they are meant to be a bit mysterious. Thank you!

  2. There is a certain comfort in the order and precision of these, even if they are mysterious. So glad they found good homes!

    1. Thanks, Cindi! I think the mystery comes from the contrast between that orderly precision and the void (white paper) than surrounds it. At least that was my intention.
